Vessels for Life.

Made for Creative Death Care - an initiative by Peta Morris. “Creative Death Care's aim is to offer new ways of delivering death and grief care”.

These two urns were made with the hope of re-imagining how these vessels have traditionally been perceived. Rather than housing death and the past, perhaps they could house life, and soften the path through grief.

Flowers for life, has a hanging vase attached for flowers or plants to be tended to as a metaphor for memories of those who have died.

Fried Eggs for Life, hopes to harness humor as a way of healing and shows a hand-built egg that acts as an amulet of memory and protection with the idea that individualised amulets could be made upon request.

Both of these urns are available for purchase through Creative Death Care.
